A local authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a Support Worker to provide compassionate care for adults in their homes. This role requires traveling within the community and involves varied shifts. Candidates must possess a caring nature, good communication skills, and hold an NVQ level 2 qualification. A driving license and reliable vehicle are essential. The position offers comprehensive training and support, with reimbursement for travel.

We are looking for motivated people who are passionate about providing outstanding care for adults with care and support needs. We have an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new service supporting people in their homes to regain their independence and learn new skills. Our Independence At Home service will prevent hospital admissions and support people to age in place and stay at home for as long as possible.
This role requires travelling within the community, primarily Newcastle under Lyme Borough, and so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
We have a part time position available with a range of shifts between 7am and 10pm, which will include weekends. There is a business need for the early shifts to start at 7am. We require our team to work flexibly, which means you may be required to work other days to complete training.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and will require a pre-employment health assessment as part of the onboarding process.
Working flexibly across various locations in North and East of Staffordshire, you will provide an excellent level of care to enable the people we support to have a comfortable and dignified life within their own homes.
