A leading care provider in Torquay is recruiting a Support Worker for full-time shifts. You will assist with personal care, ensure the wellbeing of residents, and support their independence. Notts Hill House is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join their team. This is a full time role.
Shifts: Days, Nights, and weekends are required. (8AM - 8PM) and (8PM - 8AM)
Pay Rate: £12.90
Notts Hill House is located in the coastal town of Torquay in the county of Devon. We offer residential support for 15 people with an acquired brain injury (ABI), physical disabilities or a learning disability. We are set back on a quiet road, within walking distance from the beach and in close proximity to the town. Our multidisciplinary team (MDT) provide high quality specialist support to the people we care for, with a focus on developing the skills and confidence to live a safe, independent, and fulfilling life.
It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents’ wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you’ll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
