Job description

Working locally, you will join one of our teams delivering great quality individualised support to adults who have a variety of support needs. You will empower individuals to live as independently as possible, promoting choice, dignity, and well‑being. Every day is different in this challenging but rewarding role. If you're caring, reliable, flexible, and passionate about supporting others to achieve the life they desire, then you could be who we are looking for! Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of the people who use our service. Supports will include work in the evenings and weekends as well as sleepovers and waking nights when required. A commitment to a person‑centred approach is essential and experience of working with people with learning disabilities is desirable. Join us and make every day matter! If you would like to get involved in support work but cannot commit to a contract because you have other commitments, we also have opportunities to join our register of relief workers who provide support based on their availability.

People we support are actively involved in everything we do through our strong partnership with TAG (The Advisory Group) – a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation run by disabled people. TAG supports people to play a central role, alongside our Board of Directors, in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring the quality of our services. You can find out more about Key and TAG's partnership here.
