A care provider in the UK is seeking dedicated Full time Support Workers in St Helens. The role involves assisting individuals with autism in developing independent living skills and coordinating health-related appointments. Daily responsibilities may involve assisting individuals in developing independent living skills, such as cleaning, cooking, personal care, laundry/ironing, budgeting, paying bills, and meal planning/shopping. You will also coordinate and attend appointments related to health and housing needs, support with medication administration, and help individuals engage with the community through activities they enjoy.
We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Full time Support Workers to join our team in St Helens. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who share our core values and have the skills to support those in need.
Understanding and experience working with autism and complex behaviours. Previous experience in a specialist autism setting. Knowledge of autism-specific approaches to communication, learning, and positive behaviour support. Experience working closely with families in a support capacity. Ability to handle a variety of tasks with flexibility and initiative.
