A specialist health and social care provider is seeking a Male Support Worker in Salford to assist a gentleman with complex needs. The role requires a full UK manual driving license and experience as a Support Worker. Key responsibilities include providing support, implementing care plans, and assisting with community access. This position offers a competitive salary, paid induction and continuous training, alongside employee benefits including a pension and additional leave with service.
Gray Healthcare are recruiting a Male Support Worker, within the Salford area of Manchester, to support a gentleman in his 40's who has a diagnosis of Organic Personality Disorder and a brain injury.
The gentleman we support lives independently in his own home receiving 2-2-1 support, 24 hours a day, by a male only team on mixed shifts of days and waking nights.
He has a good sense of humour, enjoys fitness and going to the gym. He is also a huge football fan and supports Manchester United.
We are recruiting manual drivers only for this role as the individual we support will have a mobility vehicle to access the community.
36 hour Contract + 2 sleeps
3 x 12 hour Days Shifts from 8am to 8pm
2 x Sleeps paid @ £100 per sleep
(Alternative weekend cover required).
We provide an initial week of training which is a combination of online training. (Company induction, systems, and Medication.) Followed by in-person training on PROACT-SCIPr-UK which is a PBS approach to least restrictive practice, this is a therapeutic and proven alternative to restraint dominate approaches. You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting. Training continues throughout your time with Gray Healthcare, and we encourage you to develop and grow your career with us.
