A charitable organization in Redruth is seeking Support Workers to assist individuals with learning disabilities. You'll provide emotional support and help with daily activities, working flexible shifts. No specific experience is required – your personality matters. Mencap is seeking Support Workers to join our incredible team in Redruth. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. A driver is essential for this role. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their life. You will be supporting one older gentleman in his own home. Daily activities can include going out for a drive, completing shopping, going for walks, helping the person we support bake at home, or having a relaxing day!
Contract options: Full time - 37.5 hours Part Time: 20 hours
Shift times: Days: Between 07:30/08:30 until 21:30/22:30, Split shifts also available finishing at 16:00, or starting at 16:00 All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
