Role — Support Worker

  • Salary: £24,829 per annum
  • Location: Radlett near St Albans
  • Hours: Full-time hours (39 per week)
  • Hours/availability note: Full-time hours only available
  • Requirements: Drivers with full UK licence are ESSENTIAL due to the service location and to be able to drive the service vehicle/s.

Forest Lane provides specialised support for individuals with learning disabilities, complex physical needs, and behaviours that may challenge. Having transitioned from long-term inpatient status with the NHS into a supported living model, Forest Lane has been successfully operating for over one year across three bungalows.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting our people to be engaged in all day-to-day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
  • Supporting our people with social activities and connecting with family and friends.
  • Supporting the management of our people’s finances.
  • Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
  • Providing, and encouraging, personal care.
  • And enjoying what you do!
