Overview

We’re seeking extra special Care Workers to support people to live well at home. This role will be working with both our Cowley and Headington teams. We are recognised as winners at the 2024 National Care Awards (Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year) and the 2025 Home Care Awards. All made possible by our wonderful support worker teams, which we would love for you to join. At the moment we have requests from the ladies we work with for female carers only, to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, companionship, transport and other support within the client’s home as part of a team.
  • Deliver high-quality care in line with training and policy; support people to live independently at home.
  • Collaborate with local teams to coordinate care around the needs of the individuals we support.
  • Engage with clients in a compassionate and respectful manner to enhance their wellbeing.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • We welcome people with no previous care experience; full training will be provided.
  • Caring, compassionate, respectful, and motivated to support people in the community.
  • Car with a valid driving licence (or a confident cyclist for the Headington team).
  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Location: live within approximately 5 miles of our Cowley/Headington teams — relocation is not accommodated.
  • Shift times: 5-hour blocks (mornings 7am–12pm or 8am–1pm; evenings 3pm–8pm or 4pm–9pm); available on alternate weekends and weekdays.
  • Part-time and flexi roles available.
Pay & Schedule
  • Real Living Wage employer; pay for full shifts (not just contact time).
  • £14.21 p/hr for time spent supporting people; £12.21 p/hr for other time (travelling, training, team time).
