Overview

Support Workers – Macclesfield. Pay rate: £12.30 to £12.60 per hour. Location: Macclesfield. Job type: Full-time and part-time positions available.

About the role

We are looking for experienced, hands-on support workers to join our small, friendly team in Macclesfield. You will be supporting adults with a range of needs, including individuals who are verbal and non-verbal. Every day is different, and we need people who are proactive, upbeat, and able to build genuine connections with the people we support. This role involves a mixture of lone working and working alongside other team members, depending on the individual’s needs.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting adults with daily living tasks
  • Lone working, as well as working as part of a team
  • Providing community-based support, such as attending activities, appointments, and trips out
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Meal preparation and supporting individuals with healthy eating choices
  • Administering medication safely and accurately
  • Maintaining accurate daily records and following individual support plans
  • Supporting both verbal and non-verbal individuals, using communication aids and techniques where needed

  • Experience working with adults with complex needs

  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) trained
