Overview

Support Worker - Rosendale, Lydstep - £12.60 to £12.80 per hour - Full Time: 43.4 hours per week - There are also a range of hours available including part time and nights. Plus an annual location allowance of £1500

About the role

We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. Located in Lydstep, Rosendale offers a calm, supportive and homely living environment for up to six adults from the age of 18. In the main house are four en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge, a teaching area and a kitchen/dining area. In addition to this is a 2-bed self-contained flat. At Rosendale fun knows no bounds, beach days are a favourite, along with cinema trips & swimming adventures. We are always on the go - The adventure never ends!

Responsibilities

• Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
• Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
• Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
• Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
• Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
• General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
