Job summary

A leading care provider in the UK is looking for a Support Worker to join their team at Wharfedale House in Leeds. The role involves supporting individuals with daily living tasks to help them live confidently and independently. You will work in a supportive environment focused on personal care and community involvement. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. Support Worker

£12.46 per hour | Full time | 40.5 hours per week | Wharfedale House

Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Your working hours

40.5 hours per week over 4 days per week.

  • 3 long days – 11.5 hours per day – 8.30am – 8.30pm
  • 1 short day – 6 hours – 8.30am – 2.30pm and 2.30pm – 8.30pm

You will need to be flexible to work all shifts including on weekends as part of a rota.

From 1 December 2025 new enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour apply only to night working (8pm – 8.30pm) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep‑Ins.
