Support Worker – Hythe

£12.34 per hour. All support workers will be working across three scheme locations. Typical shifts include weekdays, weekends and sleep‑overs; rotas may vary.

About the role

We are looking for genuinely caring, hands‑on support workers who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life of those we support. You will help people gain more independence in their daily lives, work within a dynamic team, and support a varied group of individuals. The supported living service in Folkestone provides a welcoming environment where no two days are the same: you may be in local bars and pubs, playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema with the people you support.

Responsibilities

You will assist with minimal personal care, promote independence, socialise, and facilitate activities. You will also follow Positive Behaviour Support plans, reflective practice, and support individuals with enhanced needs such as distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, and trauma backgrounds.

Qualifications & Experience

Must hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible, and composed. Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans, reflective practice, and caring for individuals requiring enhanced support including autism, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours is required.
