A leading disability support organization is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Holyhead to assist individuals with daily living and engage in recreational activities like bowling and arts. Full manual UK driving license required. Experience in caring for disabled individuals and British Sign Language knowledge preferred. This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. We are offering Support Workers £24,375 per annum.
Our Stevenage service is rated good by CQC. At our service we support 7 individuals in all aspects of daily living activities according to their care support plans.
As a Support Worker, you will be taking part in a range of activities with the individuals as they are active and enjoy taking part in various activities. Some of these activities include:
A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
Experience using or a British Sign Language qualification is desirable as we do use this method of communication with some of the people at the service.
