Dimensions are seeking Support Workers to empower the independence of a gentleman we support at his home in Walkford (near Christchurch and Highcliffe).

The gentleman we support is in his 70’s and has learning disabilities. He is happy to meet a full-time Support Workers. (Various shift patterns available pay rate of £12.85 per hour).

This gentleman enjoys an active lifestyle. He would like to meet Support Workers who can help him with things such as:

  • Trips to museums (recently he’s been to the tank museum)
  • Going to the New Forest for picnics
  • Going for lunch at posh establishments such as The Pig at Brockenhurst
  • Sharing his passion for music from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s
  • Starting to go swimming again

This gentleman does not use words to communicate, he uses sounds and body language. If you have not communicated with someone in this way before, don’t worry as Dimensions will provide you with full training.

The gentleman we support will also need assistance with day-to-day tasks which may include (but not be limited to)

  • Assistance with finances
  • Helping with meals
  • General household tasks
  • Providing support with personal care

As the gentleman we support has his own vehicle, it is essential that all Support Workers hold a full UK/EU Driving License.
