A healthcare service provider is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist an 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy in Hessle. The role involves providing individualized care, facilitating rehabilitation and social activities, and promoting independence. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, a full UK Driver’s License, and ideally some experience with children. Training will be provided, and flexible hours are expected.

We are proud to offer distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired/traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions. We are recruiting a support worker to support an 11-year-old boy with cerebral palsy living in his own home in the Hessle area. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates using high and low tech communication devices and via facial expressions and gestures. He can express his wishes and preferences to those who know him well. The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering him to be as independent as possible.
The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists, and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
