Job description

Location: CM20

Salary: £15 per hour

Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Sunday - 09:00-14:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full assistance with personal care, including washing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
• Support safe positioning, transfers, and mobility using hoists and other specialist equipment.
• Assist with the use of a custom wheelchair and activity chair for meals and engagement.
• Encourage socialisation, participation in meaningful activities, and ongoing learning.
• Support communication needs and promote positive engagement throughout the day.
• Provide respite for the family through consistent and reliable care.

Requirements

• At least 6 months recent care experience.
• Male carer required to meet specific client needs.
• Experience with hoist transfers and safe manual handling.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex physical disabilities preferred.
