A community support service in Great Bentley is seeking dedicated Support Workers to assist individuals with complex needs. The role involves providing hands-on personal care and support for activities while promoting independence and community engagement. Candidates must possess a UK driving license and demonstrate compassion and creativity in their approach to support. This position offers an hourly rate of £13.00 with earning potential of £32,000 per year.
No Sponsorships will be offered. Support Workers. Day and Night position available. Location: Clacton/Colchester. £13.00 Per Hour. Earning potential £32,000.00 Per year. Overtime Available.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers. We require support workers that are fun, energetic, love having banter, a joke and a laugh, whilst maintaining boundaries and keeping a young man focused. He requires 2:1 staffing at all times due to complex behavioural needs and the team would be expected to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. This role requires hands-on support in all daily living aspects and a proactive approach. Positive Behaviour Support is in place to support this young man develop friendships while maintaining his family and existing relationships in place. A UK full manual driver’s licence is essential as it involves driving a mobility car. His interests and hobbies are swimming, visits to the seaside, music, long walks in the countryside, travel, train and tube rides as well as trampolining and rock climbing to name just a few.
He requires a support team that has a good understanding of living and growing up in the UK, including music from different eras, TV programmes, food, and humour. They need to be creative and think outside the box for practical solutions to dilemmas.

The interviews will be a two-stage process. One with us here at Harley House and the other with the person in support and their parents – an informal chat over a coffee before any decisions can be made.
Follow the individual support plans and risk assessments and ensure that changes to individual needs are escalated to the Team Leader / Manager.
