Job summary

Support Worker

£13.66 - £18.14 per hour

Exeter

37 hours per week

Temporary ongoing contract - minimum 3 months

Sellick Partnership is supporting an organisation to recruit for a Support Worker on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities of the Support Worker:
  • Take a holistic approach to support the service and help people to move forward with the skills to be independent in managing on their own
  • Work closely with other agencies around specific needs including mental health, substance misuse, benefits, private letting agents and landlords and/or others.
  • Assist service users in exploring options around education, training, and employment
  • Support a wide range of service users from varying backgrounds with varying support needs
  • Maintain records and putting into place action plans
Essential Criteria of the Support Worker:
  • Enhanced DBS (adults and children) on the update service
  • Driving license and access to own vehicles
  • Previously worked with people affected by homelessness
