A dedicated care provider in the United Kingdom is seeking passionate individuals to support a vibrant young man with complex needs. The role involves engaging in meaningful activities, providing essential care, and collaborating with professionals to enhance his quality of life. Ideal candidates should have experience in complex medical care and a passion for creative engagement. This position offers competitive pay, ongoing training, and a supportive environment.
Days and Hours : 36.75 hours per week(15 shifts over a 4-5 week rolling rota available - number of shifts to be confirmed, equating to an average of 36.75 hours per week). Typical shift patterns are days, 7.45am-8pm and nights, 7.45pm-8am.
Pay : £16.16 per hour, for all shifts Following successful completion of probation : £16.65 per hour, for all shifts 1 years’ service : £17.17 per hour, for all shifts Driver required? Applicants need their own car to get to work due to the location of the client's home. Driving Client's Car? There is not currently a need to drive the client's car . There is a possibility in the future there may be a need to drive the Client's automatic Wheelchair Adapted Vehicle (WAV).
Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes (if licence held) to attend training and supervision. Supervision can be held virtually.
Essential Experience : Complex medical needs and supporting a person through waking nights
Desirable : Experience working with adults with complex trauma, PEG feedingand an interest in therapy Pets : 1dog but it lives within the family home on the same site (adjacent to the client) Accommodation (while on duty) : Fully adapted family home.

Living in a fully adapted home with his family, he requires 2 : 1 support for all his daily needs (he cannot be left unattended).
