Job summary

Achieve Together in Eastbourne is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist people with learning disabilities and related needs in daily activities at home and in the community.

You will provide person-centred support, promote independence, and work within a supportive team at shift times across full-time roles. Full training is provided to ensure best practice and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• You will provide support to people in daily life in their home and community.
• You will communicate clearly, listen attentively and foster independence for people supported.
• You will follow care plans and document progress and needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Support people in daily living activities and community participation.
• Encourage independence, safety, and wellbeing in home and local surroundings.
• Record changes and report to the supervisor as required.
