A leading care provider in East Devon is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide home care for a young woman with disabilities. This role requires a reliable individual who holds a full UK driving licence and has an understanding of learning disabilities and epilepsy. Duties include assisting with daily activities based on a flexible rota averaging 30 hours per week.

As a Personal Care Assistant you will be part of our client's dedicated support team, providing essential care at home. You will be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client.
Working hours are 8:00‑20:00 on a 2‑week rolling rota: week one 2 shifts, week two 3 shifts, averaging 30 hours per week. Flexibility is required to meet the client's needs.
Our client is a young woman in her 20s with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and epilepsy, who requires 24/7 support at home and in the community to help her live her life to the fullest.
She enjoys visiting arcades and playing on 2‑p machines, watching television and her favourite programme, the Tweenies.
We provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering:
All training must be completed prior to the start date and is paid at minimum wage.
