A local authority council in Dudley is seeking a Support Worker to provide person-led support for individuals with disabilities. You will engage in various aspects of care and help implement individualized support programs. Ideal candidates should have a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable groups and experience in supporting individuals with physical or learning disabilities.
Queens Cross is a vibrant Community Disability hub, co-produced with people who have lived experience of disability and who are living independently in their own homes throughout the borough. People are at the front and centre of everything that happens at our hub, working in partnership with us to continually improve the service.
Support Worker — 30 hours per week — Grade 4.
The role is an enabling position to provide discreet and person-led support to people with physical/sensory and learning disabilities or other long‑term health conditions in the building-based service. You will meet all aspects of the physical, social and emotional care of people who use and help to co-produce the service, and support the development and implementation of individualised, highly person-centred support programmes.
