A leading health care provider in Dewsbury is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join their team. You will assist with personal care, support residents' well-being, and promote independent living. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with those in need. Pay Rate:£12.60 per hour.
Job Type:Full-time, 42 hours per week.
Shifts:8am - 8pm. Weekend work is included.
The Old Vicarage is located close to Dewsbury town. It offers residential support for seven adult males and females with a range of needs. This includes adults with a learning disability, individuals with mental health needs, and people on the autism spectrum.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you’ll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
