Quarriers is recruiting part time Support Workers for our North Lanarkshire Support Living day services! Reach your full potential and play a part in making a Scotland a better place to be by supporting adults to live full happy lives!

Your new opportunity

Quarriers is recruiting part time Support Workers who will support people with additional support needs thrive living independently while enjoying activities and hobbies in the local community and beyond. Our day services operate between 9am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work to meet the needs of the people we support.

Say hello to the people we support

John - loves swimming, football and his pipe band. He enjoys meeting his best friend Tony who is also supported by the team. He has a great sense of humour and loves to be encouraged to do things by himself.

Melanie - kind, funny, caring and smiley, Melanie brightens up the room and has a great sense of humour, she loves horse riding, swimming and knows how to party with a dance throw in or two. "I like to get to know people and enjoy time on my own but I also need someone who can drive and who has access to their own car so I can get out and about"

Working pattern

Our day services in North Lanarkshire operate between 9am - 4:30pm with occasional weekends. We are offering part time, permanent contracts between 16-30 hours. Looking for more hours? We have potential opportunities to work additional hours in our adult supported living services.

What you’ll bring

  • The people we support like to go to activities that may include driving long distances, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential with access to your own car. (mileage will be paid in line with organisational policy and benefits)
