Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Support Worker for Ogilvie Court in Earls Colne, near Colchester. The role is permanent and full-time, offering £13.75 per hour and opportunities to develop within a supportive residential care environment for adults with learning disabilities and related needs.

You will provide person-centred care, assist daily living activities, and help individuals achieve personal goals with dignity and independence. Training and progression paths are available.

Ogilvie Court £13.75phr Full Time 37.5– Hours

Ogilvie Court is located in Earls Colne, near Colchester. It offers residential support for 22 males and females with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, and other associated needs. We are in a rural location, surrounded by lovely views and beautiful countryside.

Our team are dedicated to providing the people we care for with the skills needed for them to live a healthier and happier life back in the community.

We can also support people who are on the autism spectrum and those who have physical disabilities.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide the highest standard of person-centred support and care, enabling the people who use our service to live with dignity, independence, and choice.

Support workers are key workers, and provide direct support to our service users in support them to live there best lives. Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.

You will play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their personal goals, supporting them in daily living, and empowering them to realise their potential.
