Support Worker

Pay rate: From £12.89 an hour (inclusive of holiday pay), weekly pay

We are looking for a compassionate individual to join Jane Lewis as an Agency Support Worker in Purley and the surrounding areas. You would be working in a variety of settings including learning disability and mental health environments.

Responsibilities

As an Agency Support Worker you will support service users in the community, assist with hobbies and prompt personal care tasks. You should aim to empower service users to carry out everyday tasks independently.

Requirements

• Be over the age of 18 to apply
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be a UK resident; sponsorship cannot be offered
• Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
• Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
• Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
• Have a genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector
