Overview

Are you someone who is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact? We have a unique opportunity for caring, motivated individuals to join our team in our moving on service in Tanerdy, Carmarthen. In this rewarding role, you'll support individuals as they take important steps toward greater independence and a more fulfilling life.

Responsibilities
  • Daytime hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • The service could change due to needs of individuals so sleep ins, weekends and evenings may also be required
  • Flexible part-time opportunities
  • Encourage engagement in community services, wellbeing, and leisure activities
  • Support access to education, training, and employment at a suitable pace
  • Provide trauma-informed, emotionally aware support during distress
  • Deliver sensitive suicide prevention and promote recovery-focused safety
  • Assist with cooking, household routines, and independent living skills
  • Support community participation and attendance at local groups
  • Offer companionship and meaningful, wellbeing-focused conversations
  • Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and on time
  • Help individuals manage finances and budgeting
  • Administer medication safely in line with guidelines
  • Promote fun, inclusion, and creativity through activities
  • Collaborate with the team, sharing ideas and new approaches
  • Provide digital (computer-based) administrative support as a key worker
Experience and qualifications
  • Experience working with people or customers

  • IT skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is essential for this role
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with mental health needs or learning disabilities, is desirable but not essential
  • We provide full training and ongoing development to support your success in the role.
Compensation and benefits
  • An hourly rate of £12.75 making the annual salary £24,531 (FTE)
  • Sleep in rate of £62.64
  • Waking night rate of £12.75 + 20%
