Job Title: Support Worker; Location: Bury St Edmunds and surrounding villages; Contract: Permanent; Hours: Part time and Relief hours; Salary: £13.00 per hour; Reference: 084473; Additional Information: Driver essential and use of own car

Overview

As a valued Support Worker with Thera East, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will help create innovative ways to support individuals to achieve their own personal goals, aims and ambitions. The support you provide will change with everyone you work with because everyone is different. You may be supporting people in their own home or out and about in their community. The role can involve helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, supporting leisure, employment, individual interests and travel. This can be a fun and rewarding but also at times challenging and demanding role.

  • No previous experience or qualifications required; free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided
