Overview

Support Worker (Female) - £14 per hour. Location: Bristol. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement).

Our client is currently seeking a female Support Worker to join their team in Bristol. This is to ensure balanced staff representation, as they currently have three male Level 2 staff members, and some customers have expressed a preference for female support.

Responsibilities
  • Caseload Management: Support approximately 7-8 customers with varying needs.
  • Housing Management: Monitor rent accounts and maintain a strong understanding of tenancy-related responsibilities.
  • Benefits System: Provide guidance and support with navigating the benefits system; a solid working knowledge is essential.
  • Specialist Support: Experience working with individuals facing drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health challenges, is required.
  • Group Activities: Facilitate and encourage participation in ongoing gardening and cooking groups.

This role is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent.
