The Role

We are looking for three patient, compassionate individuals to support three young clients with similar needs. You will work on a one-to-one basis with one client at a time, but will be part of a rota to support all three clients as needed.

In this role, you will build strong, trusting and therapeutic relationships, providing support both at home and in the community. Your work will play a vital role in helping each client avoid inpatient care by encouraging meaningful engagement in daily life and tailored, enriching activities.

Our clients have faced significant challenges and benefit from consistent, empathetic support. Over time and with the help of their support workers, it may be possible for the clients to develop a positive peer network that fosters mutual encouragement and connection.

Each client requires support during different daytime hours, Monday to Friday and your schedule may vary from week to week depending on your allocated rota. The posts can be offered on part-time or full-time contracts. Flexibility is essential in this role to ensure our clients receive consistent, dependable support they can truly rely on.

All of our clients require some support in the community, and as they live a short distance apart, it would be beneficial if you are a driver with access to your own vehicle. Mileage expenses will be reimbursed when your vehicle is used during work hours.

A good understanding of mental health is essential for this role, and experience or knowledge of autism and eating disorders would be a strong advantage.
