Overview

We are looking for support workers experienced in working with autism and learning disabilities to work in Bridgend and surrounding areas. Great rates of pay up to £15 per hour, flexible shifts are available including days, evenings and weekends and sleep ins. This is a highly rewarding role supporting various services. There are also opportunities for Senior Support Workers; please call for more information.

Responsibilities
  • Support people to develop independence while providing care and support.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as house routines, outings, activities, daily chores and mealtimes.
  • Support with medication and enrich the day-to-day lives of the people you are supporting.
Training and Scheduling
  • On-going shifts with thorough inductions and extra training available for staff in each service.
  • Flexibility for full-time hours or additional shifts.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in care and support work, ideally with learning disabilities or autism.
  • Willingness to work in surrounding areas accessible by public transport or driving.
  • Free refresher training available and access to a range of upskilling courses.
  • Candidates should be registered on SCW and have practical Moving & Handling Training; Epilepsy, Medication & PBS training would be advantageous.
