  • All applicants welcome
  • A caring, respectful and person-centred approach
  • A team-player attitude — reliable, flexible and positive
  • Willingness to learn — full training provided, including moving & handling / personal care support
What you’ll get in return
  • Opportunity to work with a well-established social care charity
  • Training & development opportunities
  • ❤️ A chance to change lives through meaningful work
  • Health & wellbeing support (as per charity policy)
  • Family-friendly policies where possible
  • ️ Pension and employment protections
  • Support for travel where required

Successful applicants will be required to complete any mandatory checks, including relevant registrations and background (for example PVG, etc.). You must also register with the SSSC within 3 months of employment at Quarriers.

About Quarriers Village & Quarriers

Quarriers Village — situated between the villages of Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm — was originally built as a “cottage-homes” village in the late 19th century by philanthropist William Quarrier. Today, Quarriers is a leading Scottish social‑care charity which provides support for adults with disabilities, offering residential and supported‑living services among other care provisions.

Because Quarriers Village is a rural / low‑transport area and the people we support may rely on mobility vehicles or adapted transport, having a driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role.
