Qualifications
- Previous experience in a support worker role or similar caring position is preferred
- Experience with challenging behaviour is advantageous, but not essential
- Willingness to learn and adapt to individual client needs is crucial
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is required
- Ability to operate a client's vehicle when necessary
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Team player attitude with the ability to work independently when required
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic first aid knowledge is desirable, but training can be provided
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A caring and inclusive approach to supporting diverse client needs
