Temp - Perm, Part time. 18 hrs per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (10am‑4pm).

Job Overview

Priority Healthcareare presents a brand‑new opportunity for a Support Worker in the Bradford area. The role involves many long walks, requiring a high fitness level and energy. You will accompany a female client with a brain injury outdoors for most of the day, observe her weekly horse‑riding lesson, and provide feedback. You will be part of a rehabilitation team and receive supervision from a physiotherapist and neuropsychologist. First‑aid training and confidence in its application are mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Accompany the client outdoors for long walks, covering 75‑100 k steps over 3 shifts.
  • Observe and provide feedback during the client’s weekly horse‑riding lesson.
  • Provide support as part of a rehabilitation team, including first‑aid when needed.
  • Maintain a cheerful and confident attitude to build the client’s confidence and wellbeing.
