We have vacancies for dedicated Support Workers to join our team at Willowbrook Care Centre, Belfast.

Willowbrook Care Centre is a 31 bedded facility located in Osborne Park, a leafy residential suburb in the heart of BT9. The centre is conveniently connected to both the Lisburn Road and the Malone Road. The centre is specifically designed to cater for a range of complex needs including but not limited to learning disability, brain injury and physical disability. Our vision is “to provide a comfortable and therapeutic living environment that enables supportive steps towards recovery and mental wellbeing”.

Job type – Full time, permanent

Hours - Day / Night duty

Salary – Circa £12.50 per hour

About The Role
The Role of Support Worker in Willowbrook Care Centre

The people we support are adults with Mental Ill Health; Brain Injury; Learning Disability; Past Dependence on Alcohol; and / or Past Dependence on Drugs.

Support 1-1 and 2-1 and continue to promote positive well‑being.

Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.

Personal care support, encourage and assistance is required.

Shift patterns include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

This is within a nursing facility for residents with complex needs.

Who you are

You must be able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the residents we support.

You must be highly skilled at building relationships.

You must be able to have a positive attitude under pressure.

You must be a quick learner, hands on, and willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
