You'll be supporting a gentleman in his 30s who lives with autism, a learning disability, and sensory processing difficulties. He has a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan in place, and training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role. Support is provided on a 1:1 basis, with 2:1 support every day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. He is very sociable, loves a good laugh, and enjoys feeling included in what's going on around him. His family is very involved and visits regularly, with strong partnership working in place.
Experience with behaviours of distress and PBS is desirable, but not essential – we’ll provide full training if you share our values. Disability Confident. Driver: Auto-friendly licence essential for community access.
