The role involves providing personal care and support for community activities, including sport and music. Candidates should have experience with young people, a full driving licence, and be ready for flexible shifts. Competitive pay rates apply: £16.00 on weekdays and up to £17.50 on weekends.

We have a great opportunity for a Support Worker to join us and support our client who is 21 years old living in Bridgewater, Somerset area.
I am 21 years old and looking for a support worker.
I undertake a range of activities at home and in the community.
I adore all things sport related. I also love music and computer games. I'd love my support worker to enjoy these things too.
I have cerebral palsy. I use a wheelchair full time and need help with all aspects of personal care and daily living activities. I need assistance to eat and drink as my upper limb function is limited. I have a PEG for top up feeding. I love to chat and interact but my cerebral palsy effects my speech patterns so you sometimes have to help me be understood; I have a communication aid which I use to support correspondence.
I have a fully adapted and equipped property and wheelchair accessible vehicle.
I need you to help me access desired activities at home and in the community. Some of my desired activities include hydrotherapy in my home pool, attending a gym, running a support group for people with disabilities, attending sporting, musical or theatre events. I need support to do therapy and social and leisure activities. I have a team of support workers and one team leader who you will work alongside.
I am currently looking for support for the following shifts:
Full Time, Part Time, Bank and Job shares can be considered. You need to have worked with young people like me before and have a full driving licence.
This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS. You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service.
