A community support provider in Bangor is looking for a FEMALE Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities. The role involves empowering clients to make choices and providing personal care. Full training is provided, and a driving license is essential. FEMALE Support Worker
Bangor, Gwynedd
We have 2 roles available, both part time 20 hours per week. Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep‑ins.
£12.74 per hour and our sleep‑in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 45p per mile.

In this role, you’ll actively support individuals in a large assisted living complex in making their own choices and set their own goals — whether it’s everyday decisions like what to wear, eat, or do, or something bigger such as where to live, how to manage their finances, or where to go on holiday.
As a trusted Support Worker, you’ll empower people to follow through on these choices, including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.
Your goal is to make everyday remarkable through enhancing well‑being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose. By offering this kind of person‑centred support every day, this truly is a fun and rewarding role for the right person.
