A global technology leader in Lisburn is looking for a technician for a 1 year fixed term industrial placement. What to expect day to day:

The successfully appointed technician will work across multiple functions providing technical support and analysis to Product Management, Field Services and Project Delivery.

Camlin Rail is offering the successful candidate a unique opportunity to work in a technical discipline, gain exposure and experience to the commercial side of a global Engineering business, by providing an exciting, challenging, and diverse role supporting our global customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with remote and onsite commissioning, troubleshooting and general customer queries
  • Performance analysis, analysing and reviewing system performance providing feedback to the design team.
  • Ensuring System Commissioning documents/reports are updated where necessary.
  • Be willing to work unsocial hours (Overtime) as and when required.
  • Undertake special projects as and when required
  • A minimum HNC or equivalent qualification preferably in an appropriate engineering discipline i.e. electronics, systems engineering, mechatronics, IT, Maths, Technology and Design
  • Work Experience in an engineering environment
Nice to have but not essential
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with a CAD Package (AutoCAD, Solid Edge or similar)
  • Experience with Photography editing software.
  • Experience Coding
  • Work Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Willing to develop the skills required to take on additional responsibilities.
