Support Technician | Farnborough - up to £45,000

I am working with a trusted global provider of secure communications and hardware systems, specialising in high-assurance technology that supports mission-critical defence programs.

In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support across a range of IT and networking platforms, helping customers and internal teams resolve issues efficiently. Your day could involve troubleshooting Windows and Active Directory environments, supporting virtual infrastructure on VMware and vSphere, or maintaining secure internal systems.

  • Troubleshoot Windows and Active Directory environments.

Skills and Qualifications
Skills Required
  • Degree qualified or relevant commercial experience in technical support or IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Dell and HP hardware including BIOS-level configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency across multiple operating systems, including Windows, and Linux.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
Desirable Skills
  • Microsoft Office suite and Exchange Server.

  • VMware vSphere (ESXi) or other virtualization platforms.
