Qualifications

Overview

Our clients in Buckinghamshire; are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician with experience of working on a variety of makes and models; to join the team.

Hours and Location

The role will be office based and involve using your technical skills, working Monday to Friday, with the option of working from home two days a week once trained and confident in the position.

The Hours

Working between the hours of 8am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday (No weekends).

Salary and Benefits

Salary: They offer a competitive Base Salary ranging from £33,000 to £36,000, dependent upon experience.

Benefits: Along with the competitive salary; it involves working a 5-day week. You will have Christmas & New Year off; for a better Work/Life balance. Full training will be provided.

Tools

You do not need tools for this role as you will be demonstrating how to fix the vehicles, not fixing them yourself.

The ideal candidate

Will be an experienced Mechanic/Technician, with expertise in working on a variety of makes and models; old and new. Most importantly; you will be customer focused and strive for a “first time fix.”

If you have experience of training an Apprentice, or two; this will also be beneficial to the role. And as the role involves the use of a PC; basic computer literacy skills are essential to the role.

Experience

You will have a background of working in an Independent Garage or Dealership; confident with using Diagnostic machines, Servicing and Repairing, Clutch repair and basic electrical knowledge.
