A leading engineering support firm seeks a High-Level Support Team Member specializing in Electrical maintenance in Saltburn-by-the-Sea. The successful candidate will perform essential maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial setting, ensuring asset reliability and operational efficiency. Ideal applicants will have a recognized apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering and proven experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Salary: £36,354.00 + 30% Shift Allowance
Working Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)
Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a leading steel manufacturer in the search for a skilled Electrical Craftsperson to join their Engineering Team
This is a key role within a high-performing department where you'll support the delivery of essential maintenance activities across a highly automated and heavy industrial facility. Reporting to the Shift Engineer and working under the guidance of the Shift Manager, you'll carry out electrical maintenance tasks to support asset reliability and production demands.
Deliver proactive and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical systems
Support production through timely response to equipment faults and breakdowns
Contribute to inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance strategies
Operate in line with site safety protocols and statutory compliance requirements
Collaborate with Day Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure maintenance excellence
Maintain accurate records using modern computerised maintenance systems (e.g. SAP)
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a qualified and experienced Electrical Craftsperson with :
A recognised apprenticeship and qualifications in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC / HNC, or NVQ Level 3)
Proven experience in a heavy industrial setting, ideally within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
A strong understanding of fault finding, breakdown recovery and preventative maintenance
Excellent communication skills, a team mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement
Flexibility to work shifts and respond to the changing needs of the operation
