Our fantasticteam in Greenockare on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners. We have two part‑time contracts available (30 hours perweek).
You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.
For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual, driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience and have access to your own car, as some ofthe people we support have their own mobility cars.
Our team provides care to individuals with diverse support needs, includinglearning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs living in their own homes in the community along with our criminal justice and forensic services. As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care.
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take an active interest in the hobbies and passions of those we support. Whether it’s discovering new opportunities, encouraging social connections, learning new skills or reducing isolation, you’ll help individuals lead the lives they choose.

Our dedicated team provide 24/7 support, shifts include sleepovers and nightshifts as well as earlies from 7:30am andbackshifts until 8pm or 9pm, working 5 days over 7. The role will include working weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care.
