Overview

Our fabulous teams in Kilmarnock and Hurlford are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners! These are full time posts consisting of 39hrs per week. You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ. However, due to the nature of the service we do require female candidates who have a full UK driving licence for manual vehicles.

The Role

As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care. The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we’ll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual, so depending on shift length you may be supporting more than one individual but do not worry as we factor travel into your hours. Our shifts include earlies, lates and sleepovers which start at 9am until 9am the following day and sleep between 11pm and 7am along with weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
