Job summary

Cornerstone in Glasgow is seeking caring individuals to support two brothers with autism in their shared home. You will help with daily living, build meaningful relationships, and respect their routines and home environment.

We welcome candidates with transferable skills; care experience is valued but not essential. You’ll join a new team, receive training, and have opportunities for development. Shifts include early mornings, days, evenings, with some nights and weekends on a rota.

Qualifications

• Good, clear communication skills (verbal and written).
• Caring attitude and empathy for others.
• Respect for boundaries and people’s homes.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to routines and guidelines.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with technology.
• Excellent grasp of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Support two brothers with autism in their shared home, building trust and genuine relationships.
• Help maintain their home and support independence.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed.
• Encourage development of social, health and wellbeing through activities.
• Work toward individual goals and aspirations.
