Orkney Islands Council is seeking two Support for Learning Assistants at Stromness Academy. One post is 30 hours per week, term time; the other is 13.25 hours per week, term time. Both posts are permanent.
You will support and enrich the learning of children and young people with additional support needs. The role is regulated with PVG and Level 2 Disclosure; you will report to the Principal Teacher of Support for Learning.

£29,257 - £29,476 pro rata
£16.03 - £16.15 per hour
The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Principal Teacher of Support for Learning.
Your working pattern is Monday to Friday. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to support and enrich the learning of children and young people with additional support needs.

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership
