Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant for Grange Primary School Enhanced Provision class. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.

You will undertake a range of support activities including general and targeted supervision of children to ensure their safety and well-being. You will be required to provide more intensive support for children with additional support needs and to ensure that individual plans are carried out regularly and efficiently. Support for Learning Assistants are crucial to the successful delivery of our services to children and are valued team members in many of our settings. This role requires you to work as part of a busy team of staff, so good communication skills are essential for this post. You should possess a positive, can-do attitude and be flexible in your approach.

You will work 22 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be Monday – Thursday 8.50am – 3pm.

This post is temporary until 26th June 2026

Successful applicants will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
