Job summary

Creative Support in Manchester is seeking a Senior Support Worker for a vibrant service near Alexandra Park. You will join a friendly team to provide person-centred support to help clients lead fulfilling lives.

The role requires confident, proactive engagement, experience in needs assessment and risk management, and willingness to work evenings and weekends. You will participate in on-call and contribute to positive support planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide outcome focused support to enable clients to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community and much more
• Effectively meet the needs of our clients and to take additional responsibilities such as rota management, induction of staff and staff supervision
• Work in a flexible manner which may including working evenings and weekends
• Participate in our local On Call
• Facilitating Meetings with Service users and Stakeholders.

You will also have skills in the assessment of needs and proactive risk management, so that support planning for individuals demonstrates an active and fulfilling life with an emphasis on a 'can do' approach.

This vibrant, multicultural service in the M16 area of Manchester is close to local transport links and amenities.

Senior Support Worker Duties:
