Pabulum Catering are now recruiting for a Support Chef Manager covering Sussex and Surrey to help us deliver exceptional food experiences to our children. As a Support Chef, you will be working in a passionate and hard‑working team to create an outstanding experience for our school. Key Responsibilities
  • Working together with our onsite teams to provide support and training
  • Supporting our portfolio of schools to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the company's brand standards
  • To comply with all Company policies and regulations in respect of health, safety, and environmental management at work and to ensure the highest standards of kitchen practice and hygiene
  • Take responsibility for menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering and stock control, as appropriate
Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate about food and great customer service
  • A fantastic communicator who works well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills throughout our customer and client journey are a must, with excellent supervisory skills being the real key to managing, developing, and motivating a team
  • You will need to be financially astute, but we’ll make sure you receive full training in all our processes and software systems to help you
  • A craft background with qualifications/experience to match
