Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Day-to-Day and Long-term Supply Teaching Assistants for Smethwick and surrounding areas. Local work with flexible hours in January, with great rates of pay and a supportive onboarding process.

As a supply TA you will support teaching staff, adapt lessons, and help students with academic, social and emotional development while upholding school policies and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 or ratio equivalent in support teaching and learning.
• Experience working with children in an education setting.
• Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with student, staff and parents.
• Patience, resilience and ability to provide emotional support.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving student needs.
• Knowledge of teaching methodologies and resources for supporting individual students.
• Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistant role desirable but not essential.

Requirements:
